New Armada body manufacturer officially released the first Double Decker Skylander D2D bus in Indonesia. PT Wijaya Manggala Premier Lestari (Aerobus) is a public bus transportation company operating the Pekanbaru-Medan (round trip) route as well as their newest route, Banda Aceh-Medan (round trip). Aerobus offers 2 class types: sleeper class and executive class.

On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, Aerobus officially launched their 2 newest units: Double Deck buses with Skylander D2D bodies, making these buses the first Skylander D2D in Indonesia. This latest release will be used by Aerobus for the Pekanbaru-Dumai-Medan route. The bus appears robust with a striking black visual appearance and golden yellow livery at several points, adding an elegant impression. The bus is supported by a Volvo B11R 450HP truck chassis. Glass protective shields are also installed in the upper and lower areas.           

The lower deck features 2 classes: executive class with a 2-1 seat configuration totaling 6 seats, and sleeper class with 2 spacious cabins.

The upper deck features executive class with a 25-seat configuration, equipped with a skylight ceiling concept that adds an elegant impression and provides a different experience when sitting on this upper deck.

Additionally, to enhance comfort in this bus, there is also an aesthetic and clean toilet, as well as a baby changing station for changing diapers. There is a mini pantry, coolbox, microwave, coffeemaker, and dispenser to make the journey more comfortable.
