Thursday, July 24, 2025 — New Armada officially launched its latest lineup, the Skylander R25, at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025, held at ICE-BSD Tangerang, Indonesia. The company introduced 3 new units: the Skylander R25 Single Glass built on a Scania K-450 chassis, the Skylander R25 Double Glass on a Mercedes-Benz OH 1626 L chassis, and the Skylander R25 SHD Double Glass on a Volvo B11R chassis.

Carrying a futuristic and dynamic appearance, the Skylander R25 features a more minimalist headlamp design, with drastically changed cowl and facia. The wavy headlamps with futuristic LED and DRL give a modern, elegant, and confident impression. The sleek and sharp form is not just for looks, but also provides better visibility on the road.

Not only the headlamp area, another exterior change can be found in its swappable rear lights. This innovation makes it easier for bus operators (PO) in the event that their unit sustains damage. A clean and proportional appearance with a minimalist design makes the Skylander R25 easily recognizable and highly modern.

The aerodynamic body shape with minimalist garnish gives an elegant impression. The addition of a spoiler on the upper rear of the Skylander R25 makes the bus look sporty. From the interior side, the Skylander R25 comes with a new ceiling design featuring a skylight and lightshade.
